Missouri Medicaid Forums

Hosted by Missouri Foundation for Health & regional partners

Have you heard? Missouri has to make a decision about whether to expand its Medicaid program. There are arguments on both sides: Some believe we should not expand Medicaid because we can’t afford it; others believe we must expand the program or give up billions of federal dollars and the health of our fellow citizens.

Get informed on Medicaid expansion at free, public community forums, hosted by the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH).

MFH Vice President of Health Policy Ryan Barker will explain – in simple, nonpartisan terms – what Medicaid is and who will be impacted by the decision Missouri legislators are considering. He will discuss why this is a current topic of debate and the potential impact on Missouri families, businesses, and health care providers. There will also be a public Q&A session.

Forums are open to the public at no charge. Registration is requested, however walk-ins are welcomed. Check-in/light refreshments will be available at 6:30 p.m., and forums begin at 7 p.m.

Please note Kirksville is a special forum offered in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce over lunch, 11:30am to 1:00pm.
