  Common Sense Economics for Life

Rare Opportunity with Two National Award Winning Economic Education Trainers!!

 Attending this workshop is one of the only ways to gain access to the powerful Common Sense Economics for Life package developed by the Gus A. Stavros Center for Economic Education at Florida State University.  The package of materials is a treasure trove of exciting activities for the high school economics course.  The recently revised and updated Web materials contain 19 modules packed with media technology.  Included are video and audio clips, PowerPoint presentations, activities, exercises and homework assignments.  Each module is paired with an active-learning lesson for classroom use.  Eight modules focus on personal finance.  There are over 2000 test bank questions that can be sorted by 60 concepts.  John Morton, ACEE senior program officer, and John Kessler, director of the Center for Economic Education at Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, will be the workshop instructors.

For High School Teachers

RECEIVE 7 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

$20 Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and the course package developed by the Stavros Center for Economic Education at Florida State University.

$10 Registration fee for Pre-service Teachers.

Payment after March 4th will be charged an additional $5 to cover late processing expenses.
