Stock Market Game Workshop

Join the Stock Market Game for a fun and engaging way to connect students to the global economy with virtual investing and real-world learning.

The Stock Market Game teaches teamwork, research, math, technology, life skills, and even language arts. It is the first step towards understanding the importance of long-term saving and investing. It aligns with Arizona Social Studies standards Strand 5, Concept 5, Performance Objectives 1, 2, 3, 4.

The game uses $100K of "virtual" money for real-world learning about risks and rewards. This teacher workshop will get you and your students started. 

Information will include stock market lingo, how the market works, how the game works, other teachers’ experience, and best practices.  For Grades 4-12

 Workshop Date: Saturday, January 27, 2018 – 10:00am-3:00pm at University of Arizona, Tucson

$15 registration fee includes 5 hours of professional development and lunch
