Controversies in Connective Tissue Disease (CTD)
Join us for a thought-provoking educational session with experts in the field of CTD.
Testing for CTD continues to evolve dramatically. This session provides compelling arguments on anti-dsDNA testing and the relative value of the Farr assay. Additionally, new clinical evidence regarding anti-Ro52 and anti-centromere antibody testing will be discussed.
Marvin Fritzler, PhD, MD
Dr. Fritzler is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary with research interest in clinical immunology. He directs autoantibody testing at the Mitogen Advanced Diagnostics Laboratory. Dr. Fritzler will discuss the evolution of anti-dsDNA, anti-Ro52 and anti-centromere autoantibody testing.
Michael Mahler, PhD
Dr. Mahler is Vice President of Research and Development at Inova Diagnostics. His research is focused on discovery of novel autoantigens. He and his team identify and characterize autoimmune diagnostic assays and develop instrument systems.
Dr. Mahler will review clinical data surrounding CTD testing.
Registered attendees are eligible for CEU credit.
