"Hearth & Earth" Luncheon - Conversations with Alexa Hampton and Thomas L. Woltz
Thursday, December 18, 2014

Celebrate Thoughtful Home and Garden Style

Meet two of America's foremost innovators at our
"Hearth & Earth" Luncheon. Join us for lively conversations and book signings with perennial Architectural Design AD 100 icon, Interior Designer, and JHC Advisory Board Member, Alexa Hampton, President of Mark Hampton, LLC and award-winning
Landscape Architect, Thomas L. Woltz, Principal of Nelson Byrd Woltz, who was named WSJ Magazine's 2013 Design Innovator.

"At an early age, Alexa Hampton learned the language of good design, the vocabulary to speak it, and the elements that define it... she traveled the world by her father’s side, touring the great architectural landmarks and discovering beauty, training her eye."
  - Random House

"[Thomas Woltz's] work is very much about knowing the spirit—what the ancients called the genius loci—tailoring it for both humans and animals, and favoring the subtle over the showy." - Alastair Gordon

With a special presentation to our 2014 Preservation Honoree, Michael A. Kovner

Proceeds  from this event benefit a wide range of JHC's educational programs in American History, Architecture, Social Justice and Environmental Stewardship.
