Creative Charitable Solutions for IRAs after the SECURE ACT 2019

Annual Meeting & Planning in Practice Program

November 19, 2020 - 9:00AM-10:30AM PDT

Program Description

This session will cover the old and new IRA rules generally, with a focus on charitable opportunities more specifically. Attendees will learn how both testamentary charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities can offer unique “stretch” IRA solutions for charitably inclined donors/clients. Attendees will learn how testamentary charitable planning vehicles can also provide an alternative to a spendthrift trust using retirement and non-retirement assets. This session will have an intermediate level of complexity.
