Basic Threat Assessment & Threat Management Training
Join us for a one-day course on best practices in behavioral threat assessment and threat management, taught by SIGMA Threat Management Associates. Threat assessment is the current best practice for preventing campus violence, workplace violence, school violence, stalking, and violence against public officials and public figures. This one-day course teaches participants how to assess threats and other disturbing behavior, take steps to reduce risk, and prevent violence and stalking. The course includes tabletop exercises to provide participants with multiple opportunities to use best-practice procedures in behavioral threat assessment and threat management. The course is appropriate for participants from multiple sectors, including colleges and universities, workplaces, government agencies, military branches, law enforcement agencies, K-12 schools, mental health, and private security / executive protection. Participants receive a certificate of completion and course handouts. Course fee: $375 per person. Group discounts are available for groups of 3 or more.
