Trane Plainview 2019 AC Clinic
The Air Conditioning Clinic is a comprehensive battery of 12 classes designed to give an overview of the entire HVAC industry. Each class deals with a specific area of the many disciplines required to successfully design, install and service comfort-providing equipment. The classes include:
- Basic Refrigeration Cycle
- Reciprocating and Scroll Compressors
- Refrigerant System Piping
- Psychrometry
- The Cooling Load Estimate
- Variable Air Volume
This course is designed for the newly employed designer/engineer, the servicing technician, and the building operator trying to better understand their systems and also provides a good review for the more experienced student.
Upon completion of the course, the student will have basic understanding of the various equipment and systems used in providing comfort cooling today and be able to identify the various components, In addition, basic troubleshooting skills will be enhanced through a better understanding of the manner in which the components relate to each other within a system.
Instructors for each class are Trane Sales Engineers. In total, the instructors for this course have more than 100 years of experience and are well respected leaders in the New Jersey, New York City, Long Island and Westchester HVAC Industry.

Tuition for the class is $575.00 per student, payable in advance. Class size is limited. Registration deadline is March 21, 2019. Registration is on-line only.
