HealthInsight New Mexico will be hosting the APEX Collaborative Learning Session 4 on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Springer, New Mexico from 11:00 am – 2:30 pm at the Colfax Healthcare LTC 503 Building.

FREE Regional Training on Implementing Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI)

 Effective QAPI programs are critical to improve the quality of life, quality of care, and quality of services that are delivered in nursing homes.  APEX Learning Session #4 – QAPI, will focus on each of the five elements of QAPI to assist your facility in developing a QAPI program. During this learning session participants will receive:

  • A detailed overview of the purpose of the QAPI  program
  • Assistance with developing a purpose statement for your QAPI program
  • Information on how to outline your plan for developing QAPI in your facility
  • An example of a written Nursing Home Facility QAPI plan

Who is invited to participate: administrators, directors of nursing, assistant directors of nursing, staff development coordinator’s, MDS coordinators, nurses, certified nursing assistants, quality improvement staff, activity directors & assistants, dietary managers, social services, human resource directors and any other staff interested in providing quality care.
