March 2019 Event - Women in Infra with Facebook

Women in Operations (WiOPS) is excited to join Women in Infra, a Facebook business resource group, to educate participants about the life cycle of a data center and create networking opportunities.

The event showcases the different phases of data center supply chain from capacity planning through site selection, design & construction, network and facilities operations & maintenance. We are also hosting networking circles towards later half of the event focusing on the topics below:

1. Navigating career path 
2. Work/Life balance
3. Finding your voice
4. Playing to your strengths
5. Understanding the importance of mentors, sponsors and Allies

Beverages and appetizers will be provided.

Parking info: 

 Parking will be available at Menlo Park Building 41 (915-955 Hamilton Ave, Menlo Park, CA 94025) in the Facebook event parking lot. Shuttles will be available to transport guests every 15 mins from 3:30 - 6:00 pm. In the event that you arrive after this time, you can park in overflow at Building 21.6. This parking is first come, first serve, and limited before 8:00 pm. Return shuttles will run from 7:00 - 8:15 pm. If you have to leave early, please check-in with the security desk, and they will direct you to appropriate transportation. It is recommended that you use Lyft/Uber to come to the event. You can navigate to Facebook Building 21.6 and walk to lobby 7. If you need additional accomodations, please contact the event organizers.
