2017 Annual Meeting - COSO ERM and Cybercrime
It’s Here: COSO’s Revised ERM framework.
The public comment period for the exposure draft revision of the 2004 COSO Enterprise Risk Management framework has now ended and all comments have been considered. The completed revised framework is scheduled for a June/July 2017 release. Bob Hirth, COSO Chair, will address key concepts in the draft and changes anticipated from the public exposure and comment period as well as adding his own observations on how to make ERM work effectively and add value in your organization. We’ll follow up Bob’s discussion with a stakeholder discussion and open Q&A session.
Cybercrime – how law enforcement and industry are responding to this growing threat
Join Adam Bookbinder and David D’Addio, from the Cybercrime Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, for an update on the threat from cybercriminals and nation-state actors, the strategies and tools that law enforcement uses to combat this threat, and some success stories from the fight against domestic and international cybercrime.
