Using Data To Define And Drive Your Business Part 1- C0243 

Understanding business data based on consumer behavior, economic trends and how you position your business in the target market. The data gathering and validating improves your business idea. It’s crucial to understand your target market from the outset. Conducting market research, analysis and positioning reduces risks for startups and established businesses alike. Making crucial product, target and marketing decisions strategically within your timeframe. Do you know how to navigate and gather demographic information?  This information allows you to better grasp the opportunities and market to your target customers.  Identifying your target’s demographic information (age, income, household size), interests, and other relevant data will define your market position.

Over the course of the two sessions, you will learn:

• How to navigate and access statistics on the characteristics of target- B2B and/or B2C in your market and businesses in a given industry- NAICS and SIC coding including data on sales, receipts, payroll, and much more using the Census Business Builder.
