Henri Samuel is considered one of the preeminent French interior designers of the twentieth century, acclaimed as much for his mastery of historic design, as well as his eye for contemporary presentation and furnishing. He is perhaps best known for his work for the Rothschild family, including the restoration of the château de Ferrières.
