Tom Buckley was educated in New York at the Parsons School of Design on a three-year student scholarship, then Paris and Rome, and finally the Slade School of Design in London. Initially, worked with McMillen, Inc. of New York, gaining experience with private clients Mrs. Merriweather Post, Mr. Henry Ford II and Mrs. Katherine Graham.
