MACA is pleased to announce our 7th annual statewide conference:

Healing, Hope and Justice: An Advanced Conversation 

Featuring keynote speaker Kayla Harrison, two-time Olympic Judo Champion, child sexual abuse survivor and advocate, who experienced abuse at the hands of a one-time coach, will offer a motivational talk on the importance of safeguarding youth in the sports arena. 

 With a plenary session from Kevin Mulcahy, Assistant US Attorney and child sexual abuse survivor speaker.  This year, we will honor both Ms. Harrison and Mr. Mulcahy with the 2017 One With Courage awards. 

Join us for a full day of education on best practices and innovative methodologies for responding to children who have experienced sexual or physical abuse, and opportunities for professional development and networking with national experts and colleagues from accross the state.

This program has been approved for 5 Social Work Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR. Collaborative of NASW and the Boston College and Simmons Schools of Social Work Authorization Number D 72739.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Northeast Multi-State Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation, for 5.25 contact hours.

This program has been approved for 5.25 Category I MaMHCA/MMCEP hours for re-licensure, in accordance with 262 CMR.
