Douglas College and the Douglas College Students' Union are proud to present the second annual "Dinner with the President". This is a great opportunity for you to meet President Scott McAlpine and share your thoughts about your experience at Douglas.
Discussion theme
President McAlpine wants to know: As a Douglas College student, do you feel engaged – academically and intellectually? Is Douglas helping you reach your academic and career goals? Is the College offering enough opportunities for you to apply classroom learning to realistic scenarios?
Who is this event for?
All Douglas College students. If you are studying at Douglas right now, then you are invited. We hope to have a good mix of students from a range of program areas, including full- and part-time students, domestic and international students.
We are limited to a maximum of 50 students for this event - so RSVP now to reserve your place.
Event format
Following dinner, there will be a few short presentations to help everyone think about the key questions. After the presentations, the rest of the time is for you to share your experience and your ideas, and for the President to listen.
Alternative date
If the date of this event doesn't work for you, then consider attending Dinner with the President at Coquitlam Campus on January 31. (Please choose and register for just *one* of these events!)
