Hog Island Clean Up

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper as we "get dirty for GOOD" during our Great Willamette Clean Up 2020 series of events! 

WHERE: Meet us at Cedaroak Boat Ramp in West Linn. 

WHEN: Saturday, 10/17 from 9:00am - 12:00pm

DETAILS: Join us in West Linn with your own personal paddle craft and let's give Hog Island some love! Hog Island is a 10 acre, undeveloped parcel that hosts a numer of native plants and trees. It also tends to collect litter from summer picnic partiers. This event will be limited to 10 volunteer participants.

Please pack along water, a snack, a face mask, hand sanitizer, and sturdy shoes or rubber boots for walking along the beach. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves, trash pickers and masks for those without their own. Volunteers are required to wear masks whenever we are on land, and must practice social distancing for the duration of the event. 

FOR FUN: We could all use a little more joy in 2020, so with October being Halloween season, and trash being pretty creepy already... we invite all volunteers to get into the spirit of things and clean up in their favorite costume or Halloween flare.
