Spring for Your River Clean Up:
Island Park (LAND)

WHAT: Spring for YOUR River with Willamette Riverkeeper and Willamalane Parks and Recreation District - we'll be sweeping the park, Island slough, and the nearby riverbanks for trash and debris removal - this is a family friendly location!

WHERE: Meet at the main Island Park parking area at 200 W. B Street in Springfield.

WHEN: Wednesday, 5/5 * 9AM-12PM

DETAILS: Please bring water, face mask, hand sanitizer, and sturdy closed-toe shoes for safety against sharps and walking in uneven terrain. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves, trash pickers and masks for those without their own. Volunteers are required to wear masks and practice social distancing for the duration of the event. This clean up is limited to no more than 15 volunteer participants and will be led by our partners at Willamalane Park and Recreation District.
