Paddle Oregon Registration 

Join Willamette Riverkeeper as we celebrate the 20th Annual Paddle Oregon!

Together we will enjoy five, sun-ripened days down the magnificent Willamette River. It’s here you’ll experience the river in a markedly different way, with spectacular meals, nightly entertainment, lots of laughs, a legendary wine and beer selection, and memories for a lifetime!

WHEN: August 15 - 19, 2022 

WHERE: All Paddle Oregon participants will launch at Marshall Island Access in Junction City on and take out at Keizer Rapids Park in Keizer. 

COST: 
Register before April 30 & Save $50: $949.00 (use promo code "EARLYBIRD")

After May 1st: $999.00 for adults and $849.00 for minors (under 18)

Your week on the river includes catered meals each day, four nights of camping under the stars, daily baggage shuttle, entertainment, educational opportunities and a 20th Annual Paddle Oregon t-shirt, safety paddlers and ACA event insurance. *Tees will not be guaranteed for folks who register after July 10, 2022.

Optional add on's include: a Paddle Oregon lunch bag, kayak rentals, canoe rentals, macrame plant hanger workshop and an event shuttle.

Particpants need to provide their own camping gear and paddle craft.

During the event, you will be able to sign up for onsite massage* and purchase from a selection of nightly beer and/or wine**.

PAYMENT: Payments can be made via check or credit card, although checks are the prefered method because Willamette Riverkeeper incurs $50+ in fees per registration completed with credit card payments.

KAYAK RENTALS: Reach out to Alder Creek to secure your kayak rental at 503-285-0464. Willamette Riverkeeper will not be available to set up kayak rentals for you. 

CANCELATION POLICY: 

  • Refunds requested through May 31st are subject to a $250 no refund policy. 
  • Refunds requested through July 10th are subject to a $350 no refund policy. 
  • Beginning July 11th, no refunds will be issued*.

* Individuals with a positive Covid test result will be considered for a partial refund.

BY REGISTERING FOR PADDLE OREGON, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
- You agree to be fully vaccinated and boosted by August 2, 2022. You will show proof upon check-in or email a photo to Amanda Gallegos, at amanda@willametteriverkeeper.org, in advance.
- You agree to being comfortable paddling 10 - 20 miles per day in potentially hot August weather.
- You agree to possess experience and
familiarity with paddling. This includes, but is not limited to reverse paddling, navigating river bends, paddling upstream, understanding river features, recognizing hazards and ferrying.

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO MEET TWO OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Paddling experience on moving water (strong river currents, eddies, etc.) within the last 2 years.
  • Moving water paddling instruction within the last 4 years.
  • Previous participation in Paddle Oregon.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS 17 AND UNDER:

  • All minors must have had a wet exit and rescue training/experience or will be required to paddle with an adult.
  • All minors need to know how to swim.
