Corvallis River Guardians Cleanup:
Crystal Lake to Michael's Landing
(WATER-based / BYOB)

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Corvallis Parks team for a paddling cleanup effort from Crystal Lake to Michael's Landing in Corvallis. Bring your own boat, or save a seat in one of ours! Limited space, please indicate your seat reservation in registration (see below button) PFD included.

WHEN & WHERE: Thursday, October 12th | 9AM - 1PM

Please be on time to meet up at Crystal Lake Boat Ramp. We will work together to shuttle vehicles, review a safety briefing, and head downstream from there. 

DETAILS: Please dress for the weather and bring water, work gloves (if you have them) and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event. WR will provide seats in a raft and inflatable tandem kayaks. Although the segment we're working on is fairly flat, please be experienced in paddling in moving water if you bring your own boat.

We may change course and move to a land-based cleanup now that winter months are closing in and highwater concerns may bring safety risks working from the river. Please be aware we may need to switch gears at the last minute. We will email ahead with any significant changes to the plan!
