HDMI MOI Verification Test Event and Plugfest - October 2018 

Register here for the HDMI Forum MOI Verification Test Event and HDMI Plugfest being held Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport. Registration is on an individual basis and not per company or team. Each attendee must register individually no later than Friday, October 5. A fee of US$100 per attendee will be charged to Adopters who are not an HDMI Forum member and participating in the Plugfest testing.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

MOI Verification
The MOI Verification Test Event is intended as an opportunity for end product manufacturers and test equipment manufacturers to quickly and effectively verify that MOIs can be executed, to make sure that multiple test equipment implementations correlate with each other, and interoperability can be verified among end products. The MOI Verification will be testing Methods of Implementation for test procedures in the latest GCTS 2.1. The HDMI 2.0/2.1 MOI Verification Testing is only open to HDMI Forum members.

Plugfest
The HDMI 1.4/2.0/2.1 Plugfest is open to any interested Forum Member or Adopter with HDMI Sink/Source/Repeater/Cable products or prototypes, and is intended for unofficial device-to-device interoperability testing. The Plugfest will provide for compatibility testing between Sources, Repeaters, Sinks, and Cables with features tested as decided by the participants.

REQUIRED SURVEYS:

Vendors who intend to participate must complete one of the below required surveys. One survey is required for each “team” within your company that will be testing at the event. The deadline to complete the survey is September 28, 2018 at 6:00pm PDT.

• HDMI Forum Test Event Attendee Survey (Forum members who will be participating in MOI Verification and/or Plugfest testing) 
• HDMI Plugfest Attendee Survey (Adopters who are not Forum Members and only participating in the Plugfest)

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENTS: 

Each company is required to sign and submit a Participant Agreement for the MOI Test Event and/or Plugfest (whichever you are participating in). One agreement per company (not individual) is needed. If your company plans to participant in both events, please complete both agreement linked below and send them by email to admin@hdmiforum.org.

Guestroom Booking: The discounted room rate at the Embassy Suites is US$182 per night plus tax and inclusive of free WiFi and daily breakfast & evening hotel reception. To ensure all attendees are placed on the testing floor, the Embassy Suites requires that you reserve by phone or email (i.e. not online). The deadline for reservation bookings is October 1, 2018.

Testing: The guestrooms are suites with a front room for testing and a back room for sleeping. Vendors who require a room for stationary testing are responsible for reserving and paying for a room for the week, even if you are not staying at the hotel for sleeping.

Please send packages to this address no earlier than 2 days prior to event start date. Please have items shipped back to its destination on last day of the event, or the following day.

Participants are responsible for bringing any needed power strips, power adapters/converters and any other equipment and cables needed for your testing. The rooms will be supplied with a table for your equipment, internet access, and carts will be available for vendors needing to take their equipment to test in nearby rooms.
