Type II - Supervisor Warrensburg February 2020

Program details for Type II Supervisor - Part 1 (36 hour course includes 4 hours of Standard Field Sobriety and a 1-day lab the following week.)

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (M-Th) & 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Fri)

ECIR II Lab: March 2, 2020 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

AS IV Lab: March 3, 2020 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DMT and 8000 Labs: March 4, 2020 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (each)

PLEASE NOTE: Gate & building open at 7:30 A.M.

Core Curriculum: Course has a total of 36 C.E.H.'s (6 Legal Studies, 21 Technical Studies and 9 Skill Development).

NOTE: You, as a certified law enforcement officer of the state of Missouri, should familiarize yourself with P.O.S.T's rules and regulations regarding required continuing education hours. As of January 1, 1996, track all all training you take from P.O.S.T. approved providers. The Missouri Safety Center is a P.O.S.T. certified training provider.

University policy states that if you must wear a firearm, then you must also wear your uniform. If you choose to wear civilian (or civilian type) clothing you must secure your weapon in your vehicle or one of the lockers at the range.

Missouri Safety Center Dress Code:
The Center is a formal training environment for civilians and professionals alike. All students are asked to follow our dress code which consists of attire that is typically found in a professional office environment; T-shirts, tank tops, torn jeans, shorts or sandals are not appropriate in class.

**LAB REQUIREMENTS**
There is a required lab for each instrument that the officer must attend to get their Type II certification. Labs are held the week following the supervisor course.

LABS: * EC/IR II - Monday     *AS-IV - Tuesday   *DMT & 8000 - Wednesday

**Please provide your TYPE 3 PERMIT NUMBER in the COMMENTS box and select the breath instrument type used by your department. **

We encourage you to bring a USB thumb drive (8 gig is recommended) because you will be offered additional training materials which will make Type 3 training easier for you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Missouri Safety Center has been notified that POST will soon be implementing a new policy requiring all Missouri certified law enforcement officers attending POST credit training courses to provide their individual POST ISSUED LICENSE NUMBER for tracking purposes. In preparation for this upcoming requirement in addition to providing your birth date and last 4-digits of your social security number, we will be requesting that you also be prepared to provide your POST ISSUED LICENSE NUMBER on the first day of class. If you are unsure of your POST license number, please refer to the following:

1. This 5-digit number is printed on the lower left corner of POST issued license certificates (below the state seal image).

Arrangements for meals and lodging will be your responsibility. Below are lodging facilities should you need to arrange lodging accommodations. Because our classes have limited seating, and are filled on a first come first serve basis, we ask for a 48 hour notice of cancellation.
