Educators are experiencing increased demand to nurture children's social and emotional development, however their own emotional intelligence is often overlooked. Administrators and dicrectors struggle with balancing the needs of their staff and the ongoing needs of their students and families. Conscious Discipline approaches social-emotional learning by addressing the adult skill set and internal state first to empower them to teach and model these life skills to the children in their care. This interactive session offers participants' personal insight, practical strategies for conscious growth, and the means to simultaneously increase the emotional intelligence of themselves and their students.
