Zombie Tag at Lake Fayetteville !!!

Get your running shoes on and start sprucing up on your survival skills because a zombie invasion is coming to Lake Fayetteville on Saturday, October 26th. The Fayetteville Animal Shelter and Maverick’s Place Small Dog Rescue are hosting a Zombie Tag fundraiser with registration beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Similar to the popular Humans Versus Zombies game played at college campuses across the globe, Zombie Tag features a family-friendly mix of outdoor exercise, challenging survival scenarios, and physical endurance. Human 'survivors' will be sent on special missions throughout the zombie-infested park, and the last 'uninfected' participant will win a trophy and prize.  There will also be a trophy and prize for the most infectious zombie!

Kids of all ages are welcome to play, but the trails around Lake Fayetteville are steep and rugged in parts so caution is urged.  We will also have other events for the younger kids, we want everyone to have a great time.  Registration is five dollars a person with a family cap of twenty dollars.  All of the proceeds will go to benefit homeless pets in Northwest Arkansas.  T-shirts will be available on the day of the event and will be mailed within 2-3 weeks after the event.    The t-shirt design is featured at the top of the page!!

You can click the "register now!" button below to register for the event and order t-shirts.  You can add up to 3 participants on the registration page; if you are a family of 4 or more, please use the family register option (a $20 cap fee).  You can register the day of the event, but who wants to waste time doing that when you could be warming up to run for your life????

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING??

Marshmallows (to throw at the zombie and "stun" them)

Sturdy shoes

Clothes you don't mind getting dirty

A water bottle (we will have water, but not bottles, on hand)

ZOMBIE TAG 101

Brought to you by the awesome folks of the Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl (coming up on Nov. 2nd!).  They made a great video that will help you increase your odds of staying alive and most important, staying human.
