Ron Magill is an American Wildlife expert who has been working at Zoo Miami since it opened in 1980. He is the communications director of the Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens, and makes regular television appearances across several networks within the local area of South Florida. Magill became a hero rescuing animals after Hurricane Andrew destroyed cages at the zoo and even made national news. He has earned three Emmy Awards for his work on the nature documentary programs; Dreams of Alaska,The Amazon & Beyond, and Dreams of the Rain Forest.
