Here in South Florida, we know a thing or two about natural disasters. With the weather changing constantly and the heat turning up everyday, it is never too early to make a Plan B for your business. The City of Doral and the Doral Chamber of Commerce are proud to present StartUp Doral's Emergency Preparedness Workshop. Let's make sure Doral is ready for hurricane season!

Major Jose Seiglie
 Emergency Management Plan for Businesses 

Major Seiglie has served the public for over 38 years. He began his law enforcement career with The City of Miami Police Department and retired honorably in 2011, after rising to the rank of Assistant Chief of Police. In October of 2012, Jose Seiglie joined the Doral Police Department, in charge of Platoon II and later was promoted to the rank of Major in charge of Field Operations and the General Investigations Unit. In his current assignment as the Major of the Field Operations Division, Major Seiglie is responsible for all aspects of the Uniform Patrol Division

Hurricane Preparations – Media & Emergency Management Specialist 

Combining over 25 years of Media experience with Emergency Management and Crisis Communications to enhance public information by providing the most concise, accurate and timely information while promoting community resiliency.

Noel Feliciano
Community Policing Specialist | COOP (Continuity of Operations Plans)  

Disaster Recovery Officer to support “Public Assistance” response efforts for all kinds of natural and man-made disasters including hurricanes, tornadoes, and fires.

 

     

The "StartUp Doral" workshops are offered free of charge through a partnership between the Doral Chamber of Commerce, the City of Doral and local area businesses, on the first Thursday of the month. Workshops are held at the Doral Government Center, 8401 NW 53rd Terrace 33166.
