Building Enclosure Commissioning:  The Design & Peer Review Process and Quality Assurance

Presenter: Glenn J. Johnson, AIA, BEC, CSI

The commissioning process is a quality based process.  Overall, improved quality will lower a building's construction cost.  Using principles of quality process, everything is verified to provide a high level of confidence that the desired building and quality is achieved.  The CxA (Commissioning Authority) must verify that goals are achieved during pre-design, design, construction, testing, and occupany.  The CxA can verify (or corroborate) that others are providing the desired level of quality.

Learning Objectives      1.0LU/HSW AIA
