Foundations of Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™ Seminar -
A 3-day entry level facial acupuncture course: Module 1 of a certification series in Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture
Acupuncturists and advanced acupuncture students, do you wish to incorporate a nurturing, constitutionally based approach to facial renewal acupuncture into your practice?
Foundations of Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™ is a comprehensive seminar which provides the practitioner/advanced student with the basics for all the other facial acupuncture protocols created by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L. Ac., M. S., M. M., featured in her 3-tiered Practitioner Certification Program offered through Chi-Akra Center.
Participants will be introduced to safe, painless, elegant and effective protocols for renewing the face as well as the body. This course will teach the acupuncturist how to customize a facial acupuncture treatment by ascertaining the 5 Element constitution and meridian imbalances involved in the aging process of the patient.
The seminar will include:

Diana Horowitz, L. Ac., Certified Teacher of Foundations of Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal™, graduated from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City in 2003, and moved to Denver shortly afterwards to open her acupuncture practice, Opal Acupuncture, LLC. She knew she’d found her life-long mentor when she attended a seminar in 2007, taught by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L.Ac.Diana has assisted Mary Elizabeth and her teaching partner, MichelAngelo, in seminars and conferences in a variety of locations in the US, and is a graduate of the 1st International Gold Standard Facial Acupuncture Certification held at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, 2012-2013.
Diana maintains her acupuncture practice at A New Spirit Wellness Center in Northwest Denver, where she delights in nurturing and guiding her patients towards experiencing greater vitality and radiance!

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation requests must be made in writing no later than 4 weeks prior to the seminar; no refunds will be granted after that date. A $50 processing fee will be charged for any cancellations prior to that date. Any cancellations after June 30th, 2016 are subject to conditions of force majeure, i.e., act of God, and the Instructor’s interpretation of the same. If the seminar is canceled, full tuition will be refunded.
*Notice to participants: To receive certification in Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture™ from the Chi-Akra Center, practitioners / advanced students must complete the Foundations of Constitutional Facial Renewal Seminar AND Advanced Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal Seminar. Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, L. Ac. M. S., M. M., will offer this seminar at SWAC from July 8-10, 2016. You must have certification in a facial acupuncture system in order to be covered by The American Acupuncture Council's malpractice insurance.
