in conjunction with College Pursuit and the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust,

is pleased to present an evening with

Celebrated Athlete, Adventurer, and Author

Erik Weihenmayer

At the Ambler Theater

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

6:00 - 8:30 pm

The evening will begin with a reception, lite fair and Erik's presentation will begin promptly at 7:00.

Erik Weihenmayer is one of the most celebrated and accomplished athletes in the world. In 2001, he became the only blind person in history to climb Mount Everest.  When he stood on the top of Carstensz Pyramid in 2008, he completed his quest to climb all of the Seven Summits - the tallest peak on each of the seven continents. Erik continually seeks out new adventures, focusing his efforts on empowering people traditionally swept to the sidelines of life. He founded an organization called No Barriers, which helps people with challenges tap into the human spirit, break through barriers, and contribute to the world. Erik is the author of the best-selling memoir, Touch the Top of the World, which was made into a feature film. For his second book, The Adversity Advantage, Erik teamed up with leading psychologist Dr. Paul Stoltz to show you how to turn everyday struggles into everyday greatness.

Erik's new book, No Barriers, will be given out, one to each family the night of the event. You must present your ticket during registration in order to receive a copy of his book.

We look forward to seeing you!
