Join us to hear the Clark-Fox Family Foundation’s extensive research on mass incarceration and their conclusion about the hidden system of oppression that is one of the most critical issues of our time.
The Foundation’s findings will include an overview of the system, the impact on the community with a special emphasis on children and families, and a discussion of reform efforts.
The presentation wraps up with a look at what you can do to help bring attention to this issue and lead the way to changes in the community.
A formerly-incarcerated individual will also be at the event to share his or her own experiences in the system and his or her contributions since returning to the community.
There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the event. Hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.
Cost for the event is $15 per person.
Parking is available at Laclede Garage on Laclede and Grand. It is about a half block walk on Grand to DuBourg Hall. Parking is free. Please see the map below for directions.
