Help us celebrate the new Charlottesville store located in the former Gander Mountain building on Route 29 North. The store will:
- Consolidate operations from the existing stores on Pantops & Route 29 South
- Offer 15,000 square feet of shopping that’s brighter, newer, and easier to shop
- Feature a convenient, drive-thru donation center
- Be more convenient and easily accessible on Route 29 with a traffic signal
- Offer the high quality, low-cost items for the family and home
- Be home to the familiar faces from the Charlottesville Pantops & Route 29 South Goodwill stores
When you choose to donate and shop at Goodwill, you help support Goodwill's training and employment programs for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages who need assistance overcoming barriers to success or gaining greater independence. Last year the sale of donated goods helped provide critical revenue to support Goodwill programs. In 2018, Goodwill assisted more than 47,000 people and helped 3,300 individuals find competitive jobs in our communities.

To prepare for the Grand Opening, the Charlottesville Goodwill stores at 1242 Richmond Road, Pantops and 1720 Seminole Trail, Route 29 South will hold relocation sales - Sunday, March 17th through Tuesday, March 26th. Sale pricing will be:
- All textiles = $1
- Shoes = $1
- Books and media = 4 for $1
- Wares, domestics and purses = half price
Both the Pantops and Route 29 South Goodwill stores will welcome customers for the last day of operation on Tuesday, March 26th.
We look forward to seeing our Charlottesville customers and donors at the new location on Gander Drive and at our store near Mill Creek.
