Moto-Camping 101 

Motorcycles and camping go together perfectly, don't you agree?

Have you combined these two great activities already or are you trying to figure out where to begin? If you're curious about camping while traveling by motorbike and need some inspiration, you'll want to join us on Saturday, May 6, 2017 for Moto-Camping 101.

Moto-Camping 101 will be led by local GS rider, Mark Wegener and hosted by BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon. Mark will share his approach to moto-camping that is the by-product of his 2015 trip from the Arctic Circle to South America. Worthy of noting, is that Mark's trip was two-up from Portland to Chile!

We'll meet at BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon on Saturday, May 6, 2017 @ 1:00pm. At 1:30pm, the group will leave the dealership and take a short ride to Milo McIver State Park on the Clackamas River for the Moto-Camping 101 session. We have reserved  the Chinook Group Campsite within Milo McIver State Park for Mark's interactive moto-camping presentation. Then, we'll have dinner and evening campfire camraderie. Willing souls can also pitch a tent a join us for a night under the stars. Lastly, we'll wrap up the event with a Sunday breakfast. 

Registration is $25/person. This fee includes Moto-Camping 101 by Mark Wegener, Saturday dinner, camping fees, parking fees for the first 10 registrants ($7/vehicle after the first 10), and Sunday breakfast.
