WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each participant will receive one on one coaching to perfect their technique in their position. Players will learn the importance of hard work and dedication. Top performers will be recognized and receive prizes. Players will take home worksheets from the meeting room. Campers of all skill levels will have the opportunity to learn more about the game and enjoy a great day of football.
This is not a combine or testing event, it is a skill development camp. You can expect to leave this camp a more knowledgeable and better football player.
A camp T-shirt is included in the cost of the camp. Lunch, snacks, and refreshments will also be provided.
An unrated tight end prospect out of highschool, Petrus was a walk-on at the University of Arkansas. Petrus earned a scholarship in 2007 and blocked for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. In 2009, Petrus was named All-SEC. At the NFL Scouting Combine in 2010, Petrus completed 45 reps of 225 pounds on bench press, which tied him for the record of the most since 2000. In 2010 Petrus was drafted by the New York Giants. Petrus has already made a name for himself and started several games this past season. The New York Giants are the 2012 Super Bowl World Champions.
