Announcing an opportunity for families and professionals who have or support children who are deaf or hard of hearing ages 0-22
This conference combines the resources of Florida groups related to deafness and offers one joint conference with a focus on children who are deaf or hard of hearing ages 0-22 and their families.
The mission of the Florida Summit on Childhood Deafness is to bring together those working in the field of childhood deafness ages birth through twenty two (22) in order to provide an inclusive forum for exchange of information, closer collaborations, and opportunities for building shared support systems for Florida’s children and families.
Those who attend will include: teachers, parents, caregivers, speech pathologists, educational audiologists, program administrators, students, early interventionists, physicians, other related service providers, nurses, and other interested parties.
By combining the conferences of the representative groups, families and professionals will be together in one forum, reducing the financial and time demands of multiple conferences on the exhibitors, the participants, and state agencies and school districts.
