NAPSG Foundation's Virtual Training Series. Incident-level Symbology: creating a methodology that is usable across Public Safety Agencies
Join us for a virtual training session to present NAPSG's work on a map symbology methodology. This methodology was developed by NAPSG's Symbology Working Group, with a strong focus on state and local priorities.
The methodology is designed to serve as a common-sense guideline for creating symbology for an incident, hazard, and pre-incident information. The resulting symbols are usable both electronically as well as on all-important paper maps.
NAPSG will walk attendees through the symbology methodology. Also NAPSG will explain the resources under development to help agencies set up their own capability.
This training session will be led by Lt. Chris Rogers of the Kirkland FD. Lt. Rogers chairs both the NAPSG Symbology Working Group and the Pacific Northwest Regional Leadership Team.
