What is Founders Day About?
The Arlington Alumni Club is proud to continue the time-honored tradition of celebrating our heritage and principles as Phis; brothers for life in a sacred bond that began in 1848. While many of us may not have grasped this when we pledged, we've come to realize that since college, many lasting friendships and associations have their roots in the fraternity; relationships that would likely not exist if we never made the pledge and signed the bond. Whether we acknowledge it or not, there is an enrichment to life we owe to Phi Delta Theta.
But, that's not all. At the Arlington Alumni Club, we believe a fraternity for life is about always growing, making new connections with Phis, older and younger. Our mission is to connect Phis with quality events. Many who had lost contact for decades are making new connections with every event. We also believe in giving back and serving others. The AAC is an award-winning alumni chapter because of our well-rounded efforts in service to our undergraduates, our community, the University of Texas at Arlington, and our national fraternity.
Founders Day is an annual moment of pause to celebrate all of this with each other. At the AAC, the event can best be summed up by our Founders Day slogan;
HONORING THE PAST.
CELEBRATING THE PRESENT.
TOASTING THE FUTURE.
Whether you are interested in reconnecting, making new connections, or in the many opportunities for growth and service, join us for Founders Day and see what we're all about. As we like to say at the AAC, we're not trying to relive our college days, we're having more fun than that.
