ABH Association Meeting

Please join ABH at our June 2nd Association Meeting with Attorney David Szabo of Locke Lord LLP. This educational program will review current legal developments in privacy, information security, and health information exchange, including:

Proposed amendments to the federal substance abuse confidentiality ("Part 2") rules and current compliance issues under the Part 2 rules,
State and federal efforts to promote the electronic exchange of health information, and barriers posed by state and federal privacy laws,
Liability and compliance issues posed by privacy and information security regulations, including OCR settlements and enforcement by the state Office of the Attorney General, and
Legal aspects of implementation of health information technology and electronic health records.

David Szabo is a partner in the Boston office of Locke Lord LLP and co-chair of its national healthcare practice. David is also a member of the Firm's privacy and cyber security practice group and its data breach response team.
