microphoneThe Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) Toronto Chapter and the Canadian Authors Association (CAA) will be hosting a literary pub night on May 23. The action starts at 7 p.m. at the very cool NOW Lounge, at 189 Church Street in downtown Toronto.

Any members in good standing with PWAC or the CAA are invited to do a short reading in front of their peers. There are no genre limitations on what you read, aside from being an original work. Poetry, prose, memoir, screenplay . . . it’s all fine, as long as you wrote it yourself. The amount of time each reader spends reading will depend on how many people step forward to recite.

Food and drink will be available, at cost for attendees. The event itself is free, and open to the public.

While we ask that all readers be members of either PWAC or CAA, anyone can attend and take part in the literary fun.

For more information or a chance to read, contact Nate Hendley at n.hendley@pwactoronto.org.
