Something big is coming to UNI this spring and you are invited to be a part of it!
The Cedar Valley Sustainability & Environmental Educators are hosting the second annual "Green: What does it Mean?" event at the UNI campus on Thursday May 10th, 2012 that will serve over 750 high school students and teachers from the Cedar Valley with a day of education covering six main focuses and how they tie into sustainable theory and practice. The focuses for the day will be:
We are seeking individuals, groups or organizations who are interested in interacting with students and teachers at our exhibit hall throughout the day. Topics should pertain to one of the main focuses that would be of interest to 14-15 year old students. Topics could include vermicomposting, water conservation, local foods or gardens, green jobs, recycling education or a hundred other ideas. This is a great opportunity to bring hands on, interactive, innovative ideas to young adults.
Please take a moment to fill out this registration form to confirm your commitment to this event and to provide us with information and an idea of your needs for the day.
We need all exhibit hall registrations in by Monday, April 30th . This is to ensure you're information makes it into the event booklet that needs to get to the printer. If you miss this deadline, we cannot guarantee your information will make the booklet. If you have any questions, please call Jenny Bruss at 319-273-7146.
