Get Your Garden Groove On

Gardening is a great physical activity that is also said to have theraputic properties that can calm the soul. Plus there's benefits like the fact you can grow tomatoes and who doesn't love a sun ripened tomato?

Have you ever wanted to garden but not sure how to get started?                                                                           Come join us in the garden for a free two week course on beginning gardening.

We will meet M,W,F from 11:15am to 12:30 at Creekside Harmony Educational Garden located behind the CEEE. Gardening basics will be covered starting with the soil and working our way up to seeds, plants, weed control, pest management and harvesting all to get you started in planning your own garden this spring.

You will need to wear close toed shoes for safety. Gloves and tools are provided for any activities planned in the garden. The hands on demonstrations will be determined by the weather due to spring being so unpredictable.
