A weekend with Diana Butler Bass 

A widely-read author and scholar of American religion and culture, Immanuel Presbyterian Church is pleased to host Diana Butler Bass for a weekend exploring the themes of her latest book: Grateful: The Transformative Power of Giving Thanks.  She'll help participants consider why gratitude is missing as a modern spiritual practice, offer practical suggestions for reclaiming it, and illuminate how the shared practice of gratitude can lead to greater connection with God, our world, and our own souls. 

Dr. Bass will present two different lectures on Saturday afternoon, October 13 at 1:30 and 3:00 and preach on Sunday morning at 10:00.  A post-worship discussion with the preacher will be held following Sunday worship. 

Immanuel Church is pleased to offer this "Weekend with Diana Butler Bass" for our members and the community through a special gift.   Books will be available through Boswell Book Company on Saturday afternoon.
