Cinco de Mayo Sail & Social 

Let's taco bout Cinco de Mayo! In spite of the confusion about the holiday's correct origins, many people celebrate it as taco and margarita day. However you commemorate the day, we think it's a great time for a sail and dinner social. Join us the first weekend in May for a sail and social.

Join other like-minded sailors for an afternoon on Galveston Bay, followed by dinner and stories on the patio.  South Coast Sailing Adventures will provide the main entree; sailors are asked to bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share.  Break out your best Cinco de Mayo recipes because all homemade creations will be entered into the Culinary Delight Contest.  The group will vote on the best recipe and award a prize to the winner.  BYOB

Schedule:

12:30 pm  Check in at SCSA for skipper & crew briefing

  1:00 pm  Depart the dock for the sail

  5:00 pm Return to the dock, secure & clean the boat

  5:30 pm Dinner social on the patio

Pricing:

Public: $80 per person

Club members: $65 per person

$10 late fee applies after Wednesday, April 28th.
