Icicle Series Overview
THREE, TWO, ONE - GO! Enjoy outdoor activities and join us every Saturday in January to participate in an informal race on Galveston Bay! These informal races are a part of the "Icicle Series" sponsored by Galveston Bay Cruising Association. Participating in these informal races will help sharpen your sail trimming skills and gain valuable sailing experience in a causal and stress-free environment.
The Icicle Series is open to sailors of all ages and experience levels.
2023 Dates: January 7, 14, 21, 28 & February 4
Schedule
10:30 am - Check-in at SCSA
11:00 am - Depart the marina
11:41 am - 12:20 pm - Race start times (depending on the boat's PHRF rating)
Approx. 3:30 pm - Return to marina, secure and clean boats.
Pricing
Public: $75 per race
Club Member: $60 per race
Full series special price (Public): $300
Full series special price (Club Member): $240
*Add a berth to your reservation and spend the night aboard one of our boats! Available for either the night before the race, the night of the race, or both! $75 per person, per night. Bring your own bedding.
