2020 McHenry County Human Race
Mark your calendar for the McHenry County Human Race on April 26, 2020!
This cooperative event is open to all 501 (c) nonprofit organizations serving McHenry County. Volunteer Center McHenry County will provide and manage all marketing, publicity, materials, and administration needs for the event. This allows small to mid-sized organizations to successfully raise funds for their organizations.Together we can change lives!
Things you will need when registering:
- EIN Number (the money will be sent to your charity based on this number)
- Contact person in charge of race and donation data
How do the fundraising percentages work?
When someone donates to your organization 100% goes to your organization! Each time an individual chooses your organization to support in the race 50% of their registration fee goes to your organization. The other 50% goes to the Volunteer Center to cover race expenses. Any dollars left over help build capacity of McHenry County nonprofit organizations.
How do donation thank yous work? Donors are thanked via the Volunteer Center? We suggest that organizations also send a thank you.
When will our organization receive funds from the race?
Registration and donation dollars will by given out in June to participating organizations at a Celebration Gathering. Organizations will receive an invite.
Will you be able to access to donor and race data?
We will email data to you once the race Celebration Breakfast is over in June. Note organizations need to request the data.
