Week one: Saturday, Feb. 3 - Copyrights and Copywrongs
Permissions, intellectual property, and the anatomy of a book. Non-fiction writing 101, how to get started and make sure your research is legal!

Week two: Saturday, Feb. 10 - Give me Proof
The scholarly apparatus, footnotes, and bibliographies, how to prove your authority.

Week three: Saturday, Feb. 17 - Roadblock Day
How to write your book when you’re stuck, a Q+A panel of local authors who have been in your shoes!
Speakers: Roseanne Higgins, Tom Reigstad, and more!

 

Week four: Saturday, Feb. 24 - Meet the Publishers
You’ve finished your book, now what? Meet with local publishers and distributors. We will discuss book layout, marketing, social media, and distribution.
