History of Irish Whiskey and the Powers Family Contribution to Culture
Join us for an evening with the Irish Distillers Master Archivist, Carol Quinn, for a focus on the history and heritage of Irish whiskey and the influence that the Powers family had on the industry and Irish culture. We will also discuss the way this interweaves into the history of the US and the Buffalo Irish community. And take a look into the story of Powers today as well as the future of Irish Whiskey.
Master Archivist, Carol Quinn, maintains the historic records of Irish Distillers, including the archives of the firm John Power & Son, founded in 1791 and originators of POWERS whiskey.
