The Vancouver Spring Tune-up Camp 2012

Join LifeSport Coaching in Vancouver, for a special spring tune-up camp to shake your “cobwebs” out after the long winter months.

This camp offers the best opportunity to get ready for your outdoor training and early racing season. All participants will enjoy coached training in all 3 triathlon disciplines.

Our team of professional coaches and accomplished triathlon competitors will help you set the best foundation for your 2012 triathlon training and racing season.  

This camp is designed for you, whether you are getting ready for your first triathlon or you are looking to improve your triathlon performance.

Tentative Camp Schedule

Friday:
6:15pm-7:00pm: Meet and Greet 
7:00pm-8:00pm: Training - Swim - Swimming Technique and Drills.

 

Saturday:
9:00am - 12:00pm: Training - Supported Training Ride - Time Trialing & Pacing.
12:15pm - 12:30am: Training - Bike-Run - Transition Practice and Short Brick Run.
1pm - 3pm: Lunch (on your own).
3pm-5:00pm: Training - Run - Technique and Drills.
5:15pm - 5:45pm: Seminar - Training, Racing & Recovery  - Structuring of Racing, Training and Recovery Sessions.
6:30pm: Social.

 

Sunday:
9:00am - 9:30am: Seminar - Nutrition - Hydration and Nutrition Strategies for Training and Competition.
10:00am -11:00am: Training - Transitions - Swim-Bike and Bike-Run Transition Practice.
11:00am - 11:45am: Training - Recovery run
12:00pm -1:30pm: Lunch (on your own).
2:00pm - 4:00pm: Training - Cycling - Hill Climbing Technique and Pacing.
4:00pm - 4:30pm: Wrap-up and Q & A session with Coaches and Goodies.

Camp fees include training, coaching, facilities, camp souvenirs, and training nutrition.  Travel, meals, and accommodation are not included. All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
