Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace

At our January 2014 meeting Dr. Kitty Brandal, PhD will help us to increase our awareness of the importance of managing emotions intelligently with people in the worklace.

Course Objectives:

• Describe what emotional intelligence is and how it relates to the workplace.
• Describe how the brain functions and the physiological occurrences in the body and how to manage an emotional hijack.
• Desicuss the importance of mirror neurons and how to use them to your advantage during emotionally charged situations.
