OC Integrative Health Initiative Launch Event 

In 2014, a partnership was formed between the Health Funders Partnership of Orange County, the UC Irvine School of Medicine, the Samueli Foundation, the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine (SSCIM), and the Coalition of Orange County Community Health Centers (Coalition) to launch an initiative to strengthen the healthcare delivery system and improve health outcomes for the underserved. The initiative, Transforming Orange County’s Community Clinic System: Creating True Community Health and Wellness Initiative (“Initiative”), otherwise known as "Live Healthy OC - Empowering a Community of Wellness", supports efforts to transform community health centers from a disease-focused health delivery model to one that focuses on prevention and health creation through the implementation of integrative health practices.

Please join us for the official launch and kick-off of "Live Healthy OC". Come learn about our groundbreaking initiative, integrative health, and hear from our partners about how we plan to create a culture of health and wellness for individuals, families, and our community.  A light breakfast will be served.
