Contact Hours: A certificate of attendance for 4 hours will be given.
The NH Board of Nursing does not require that your contact hours be earned at conferences that provide "official" contact hours granted by a professional organization. However, the educational offering must:

Speakers & Objectives:
Linda Sheldon is a staff physician @ St Jospeh Internal Medicine. She has been in practice for 12 years most of which is clinical. She is a member of the Board of Director's at St Joseph Hospital and serves as the Chairwoman of the Finance Committee for St Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH.
Title: Electronic Medical Records: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly from a User's Perspective.
Objectives:
1) The attendee will be able to tell what works and what doesn't in EMR from the User perspective.
2) The attendee will understand how EMR is being introduced to clinical providers in the outpatient setting and why.
3) The attendee will know how EMR impacted one clinical provider operating it in a standard outpatient setting.

Denise Finch, OTD, OTR, CHT, CCM is the founder and owner of WorkRite Medical Associates. Ms. Finch received a BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire in 1982. In 2012, she was awarded a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and completed her dissertation titled “Advancing Ergonomic Expertise in Occupational Therapists: Using an Online Course to Facilitate Knowledge Acquisition and Application of Ergonomics in Daily Practice”. Ms. Finch also holds certification as a hand therapist and case manager. She specializes in the treatment and prevention of work related injuries, work transition programming, job site evaluation and modification, and ergonomics. Ms. Finch has presented to a wide variety of audiences. Topics include: preventing and managing work related musculoskeletal disorders, musculoskeletal risk assessment, office ergonomics, job modification and worker’s compensation, and return to work programming.
Title: Ergonomics, EMR and Solutions to Reduce Risk Factors
Objectives:
1. Become familiar with the evidence regarding the perceptions of EMR among health care providers
2. Become familiar with the evidence regarding ergonomic concerns and EMR
3. Be able to Identify at least 4 biomechanical ergonomic issues related to input devices used in EMR
4. Be able to identify at least 5 solutions to reduce ergonomic risk factors associated with EMR.

Susan Fentin, a partner in Skoler, Abbott & Presser is a labor and employment law firm that practices only labor and employment law and represents only management. Susan is Associate Editor of the Massachusetts Employment Law Letter. She is experienced in both labor law and employment litigation, speaks frequently to Employer Associations on employment law topics, and teaches Master Classes on the FMLA and Wage and Hour law.

Title: 2011 EEOC Regulations and Developments in Disability
Objectives:
1. Attendees at this session will learn how the EEOC's final regulations have altered the definition of disability under the American with Disabilities Act and how those changes will affect the way that New Hampshire employers handle requests for accommodations.
2. The sessions will also cover details surrounding the "interactive process" between employer and employee as a means of identifying reasonable accommodations that would enable the disabled employee to return to work and perform the essential functions of his or her job, including the significance of accurate job descriptions and the use of such job descriptions in the process.
TO THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION & CONFERENCE CENTER (CECC): Enter at the Main Entrance Of Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Take an immediate right turn. Follow the drive up the hill to the right. Turn right into the parking lot at the top of the hill. The CECC is the only building in that parking lot. The CECC has an arched copper canopy over the entrance.
FROM LOGAN AIRPORT: Take Route 1A North, approximately 10 miles to Peabody and bear right onto Route 95 North. Drive 15 miles to fork at Exit 4 and bear left for the Spaulding Turnpike. Follow Spaulding Turnpike to Exit 12 (Route 125). At the end of the ramp, bear right onto Route 125 North toward Rochester. Continue on 125 North to the fifth set of lights and turn right onto South Main Street. Frisbie Memorial Hospital is approximately 1/2 mile on the left.
FROM PORTLAND, ME: Take Route 95 South to Exit 4 (Biddeford) to Route 111 West. Follow Route 111 for 30 to 40 minutes to Route 202 South. Look for Minor's Restaurant on the left. Go over the bridge and turn left at the intersection by Cumberland Farms. Proceed through the first intersection and bear left at the fork in the road. Go to the end of this road and turn left onto South Main Street. Frisbie Memorial Hospital is approximately 1/2 mile on the left.
FROM MANCHESTER, NH: Take Route 293 East to Route 93 North. Drive about two miles and take exit for Route 101 East. Take exit for Route 125 and turn left at the end of ramp onto Route 125 North. Proceed on 125 N. for approximately 30 minutes into Rochester. You will pass under the Spaulding Turnpike as you enter Rochester. At the fifth set of lights turn right onto South Main Street. Frisbie Memorial Hospital is approximately 1/2 mile on the left.
